Sooner or later, stupidity catches up to you. It did to me last night. It looks like I may have to seriously consider declaring bankruptcy to get rid of the credit card debt load I created for myself. Even with that, I’m still going to have to work hard and lots of overtime to make sure I keep up on the house payments, so I don’t have to put the house in the bankruptcy too, and lose it. It looks bad, lord knows, but my credit’s already shot. This isn’t going to make it much worse. And it will at least get rid of the stress I incur trying to keep ahead of the all the creditors. So I’m going to talk to a lawyer ASAP and see what the rest of my options are. Meanwhile … doesn’t anyone want to buy any of my cats?
