No work for Intel today, so instead I am doing a lot of work at home — among other things, getting caught up with all the housework and chores that have gone undone for two weekends before this. (Maybe longer in some cases.) Lately, anyway, I haven’t considered doing housework to be drudgery. I’m not sure why this is — I suppose part of it has to do with the fact I’m doing this completely by my own choice. Amazing what free will does for you. 😉 The other part of it, I think, has to do with the sense of accomplishment I get from it. The results are real, and tangible, and come relatively quickly.
And now, if I haven’t convinced the world I’m absolutely nuts yet, it’s time to go back and do more housework. 🙂
